In CLDP's continuing work in support of technical training for the staff of the newly formed Egyptian Competition Authority (ECA), four ECA staff members were sponsored to attend a workshop dedicated to Merger Notification and Procedures in Brno, Czech Republic on March 18-19, 2008. The workshop focused on international best practices and procedures for merger notification and will promote the International Competition Network's recommended practices for merger notification and review procedures.
