On April 24-27, CLDP organized a workshop in London, UK on increasing Pakistan's domestic gas supply through stranded and marginal fields. The workshop brought together senior officials from Pakistan’s Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources (MPNR) and the Oil and Gas Development Company Ltd. (OGDCL) to discuss and find concrete solutions to explore regulatory reforms that will make such fields commercially viable. Increasing domestic gas production is a cornerstone of meeting Pakistan's ongoing energy deficit, and this is the first of three CLDP workshops this year to address the country's gas supply.
