CLDP conducted a workshop on digital security in the procurement of cloud services for the centralized procurement agency, Peru Compras, and the Secretariat for Government and Digital Transformation (SGDT). General Service Administration and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) experts provided an overview of the U.S. FedRAMP Program, a federal government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud services, and shared lessons learned during the development of NIST standards for cloud services. This workshop is part of CLDP’s support to Peru Compras to develop a centralized procurement mechanism for cloud services to facilitate the government’s digital transformation while safeguarding against security threats.
