On April 26,  CLDP, in cooperation with USAID Peru, conducted a hybrid workshop with Peru’s Supervisory Entity for State Contracting (OSCE) to discuss best practices in measuring the performance of the procurement workforce. The workshop was led by an expert from the General Services Administration (GSA) and focused on competency development tools used by the Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI), which is part of GSA. Last week’s session is part of CLDP’s ongoing support to OSCE to develop and implement a professionalization program for procurement officials that includes certification and mechanisms to evaluate job performance. CLDP supported this series as part of a multi-phase USAID- funded effort to improve Peru’s procurement processes and procedures for infrastructure projects.
