CLDP, in collaboration with the State Procurement Oversight Body, hosted an event to launch the construction of the country’s new public procurement platform, which will centralize all government tenders and procurement information. CLDP experts from the General Service Administration and the Defense Acquisition University flagged digital security considerations to minimize threats to the new platform and highlighted best practices in institutional change management to assist with the new platform’s implementation. The new platform, which is expected to become fully operational in 2024, will advance CLDP’s multiphase program to improve the efficiency and transparency of Peru’s procurement processes.
