In collaboration with the World Bank and the U.S. Department of Transportation, CLDP conducted a two-day workshop from September 24-25, 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand for high-level members of port authorities within the region. The workshop focused on both capacity building and facilitated discussions on key topics with the ultimate goal of promoting best practices for the regional ports and creating a permanent working group to continue collaboration moving forward. The group discussed sustainability and green transition initiatives, countermeasures to natural disasters, port logistics, digitalization, and maintaining connectivity between the ports.
