From September 11-12, CLDP brought together representatives from regional alterative dispute resolution (ADR) institutions, including the Bangladesh International Arbitration Center, Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration, Asian International Arbitration Centre, Maldives International Arbitration Centre, Nepal Council of Arbitration, Musaliha International Center for Arbitration and Dispute Resolution, Singapore International Arbitration and Mediation Centres, Sri Lanka International ADR Center, and Thailand Arbitration Center. The representatives shared best practices in promoting the use of ADR with the goal of ameliorating their services in order to ensure that U.S. businesses are afforded fair, efficient, and predictable legal proceedings relating to their investments in the region.
