On February 25-27, CLDP, in cooperation with the Asian Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT), held a preparatory training in Colombo, Sri Lanka, to prepare Sri Lankan and Afghan university students to participate in the Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (Vis Moot) and the ELSA WTO Trade Law Moot (Trade Law Moot). The Vis Moot is held annually in March in Hong Kong and Vienna. The WTO Moot will be held in April in Thailand. The training worked with the Sri Lanka Law College Trade Law Team, Sri Lanka Law College Vis Moot Team, APIIT Vis Moot Team and Afghanistan’s Dunia University Trade Law Team. The training focused on written and oral advocacy skills, along with trade law, commercial law, and commercial arbitration.
