With CLDP guidance, Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) in Oman and the University of Bahrain (UB) competed in the Vis Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria. CLDP advisors prepared faculty and students for the competition with pre-moot exercises and guidance on writing memoranda and effective oral advocacy. Both the SQU and UB teams performed exceptionally well in the moot, receiving significant praise from arbitral panels as well as opposing teams. The law students that made up the Vis Moot teams learned important writing and oral advocacy skills that will be directly applicable to the practice of international commercial law and arbitration.
