Carbon capture is a key method of reducing carbon emissions and is crucial to mitigating risks of climate change. On September 19-21, CLDP in partnership with the Timor-Leste National Petroleum Authority (ANP) conducted a workshop on Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Legal and Regulatory Frameworks.

The three-day workshop covered Geologic Characterizations, Permitting, Measurement Monitoring and Verification (MMV/MRV), Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG), Risks, and a capstone project on conducting a risk assessment.
