On January 10, CLDP held a workshop with Tunisian telecommunication agencies on 5G Security. It featured presentations by experts from the United States, Japan, Taiwan, and the Czech Republic, who described measures taken to secure networks. In conjunction with the workshop, the Federal Communications Commission signed a memorandum of understanding with Tunisia’s National Telecommunications Authority to facilitate technical assistance cooperation and information exchange. Following the workshop, CLDP joined Tunisian telecommunication agencies in a meeting with operators and private-sector stakeholders to promote supplier diversity in the country’s telecommunications infrastructure.
