UAE: CLDP Participating in Regulatory and Transactional Conference

In October 2014, CLDP participated in a conference titled “Megatrends in Mergers & Acquisitions” held by the Dubai Economic Council, focusing on overcoming regulatory hurdles in M&A transactions. CLDP Expert, Timothy Hughes of the Federal Trade Commission led a panel covering foreign investment restrictions, asset/sector regulation, antitrust regulation and FCPA/Bribery Act. The program supports CLDP’s technical assistance to the UAE and region on commercial law development particularly competition law and regulatory framework.
