CLDP will contribute to the development of UAE ambassadors and commercial attache’s as trade diplomats of the twenty-first century. 

At the request of the United Arab Emirates' Ministry of Foreign Trade (MOFT), CLDP and MOFT jointly conducted a four day workshop (October 23-26) in Abu Dhabi entitled “Trade Diplomacy and Its Associated Perceptions.”   The workshop was designed for commercial attaches and ambassadors to develop UAE ambassadors and commercial attaches as trade diplomats of the twenty-first century.  At least 50 participants were attended the workshop.  Program  topics included commercial and economic diplomacy, coalition building and formation of strategic alliances and practical methods in international trade negotiations.
