CLDP organized three weeks of US consultations, June 14-July 2, 2010, for a Pakistani delegation representing science and technology universities led by Pakistan's National University of Sciences and Technology. These consultations were aimed at bringing innovation from academia to the marketplace in an effort to diversify Pakistan's exports. During the first week, the delegation participated in intellectual property rights training at USPTO and technology licensing and commercialization workshops conducted by CLDP. The group then visited the technology transfer office at Oklahoma State University and the technology transfer office at Georgia Tech University, concluding in Washington DC with a licensing negotiation simulation organized by CLDP.
