Workshops on IP Enforcement

CLDP coordinated with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) a two-day workshop in Abuja, Nigeria, that took place on June 25-26, 2008. The workshop, themed around intellectual property enforcement, received more than 50 participants. It addressed such topics as, the protection of IP Rights as for the music industry in Nigeria and the law enforcement perspective, combating counterfeiting in Nigeria and the threat it poses to citizens health and safety, etc.
