On May 17-18, CLDP, in coordination with U.S. Embassy Baku and the Azerbaijan Justice Academy, led a workshop focused on IPR enforcement with respect software licensing and other areas of ICT for judges in Azerbaijan. The workshop included two judicial experts, including Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge and magistrate judge, who both focused on case studies that addressed challenging and nuanced legal issues around disputes with respect licensing and other technology related matters. CLDP’s workshop was a follow on to a virtual program held in April that focused on the basic tenants of IPR.
