CLDP and TSA will host a workshop on National Security Considerations in Border Security Procurement Aligning regional procurement and PPP frameworks with transparent, competitive, and security-conscious standards. This expands opportunities for U.S. companies to compete fairly for major infrastructure, technology, and services projects. From July 14-16, 2026, CLDP, in cooperation with TSA, will conduct its 7th Regional Working Group on Public Procurement and PPPs. The workshop will be hosted by the Czech Government, and will include 12 countries: Lithuania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Portugal, Slovakia, and Ukraine. During this three-day, hands-on workshop, CLDP and TSA experts will strengthen participants’ ability to design and implement priority infrastructure projects through PPP frameworks. By addressing project definition, costs, financing, risk allocation, EU legal requirements, and value-for-money assessment—while integrating national security considerations such as trusted supply chains, vendor screening, and cybersecurity—the program helps shape transparent, bankable, and secure procurement processes.
