CLDP sponsored the participation of Giorgi Kvaratskhelia, Head of the Georgian Technology Transfer Center (GTTC), to attend the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Summer School on Intellectual Property and Transfer of Technology at the University of the Western Cape, in Cape Town, South Africa. WIPO hosted the Summer School jointly with the National Intellectual Property Management Office (NIPMO) and the Department of Science and Technology of the Republic of South Africa.  The program was designed for senior students and young professionals, to both acquire deeper knowledge of intellectual property and transfer of technology and discuss current issues pertaining to the management and commercialization of intellectual property.
