On October 29-31, CLDP, in coordination with the Public Procurement Agency of Moldova, facilitated a roundtable focused on the professionalization of public procurement in Chisinau, Moldova.  Thirty-four participants attended the roundtable, including representatives from national and regional procurement offices, academia, and civil society organizations.  The discussion at the roundtable centered around two main topics: creating a new certification program for contracting officials and the advantages of centralized procurement.  Through this roundtable, CLDP helped to promote professionalization and accountability in government procurement in Moldova.
