CLDP and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) visited Manama, Bahrain to hold consultations with Bahrain Customs Affairs and provide a training session on the Rules of Origin and Customs Administration chapters of the U.S.-Bahrain Free Trade Agreement. CLDP and CBP visited the three entry-point sites through which FTA goods enter into Bahrain: the Salman Seaport, the Bahrain International Airport, and the Saudi-Bahrain Causeway to assess the verification and processing procedures currently in place. CLDP and the experts met with policy makers in the Customs Authority to discuss best practices, and hold a two-day training session for Customs Authority officials on implementing obligations under the FTA. \
