CLDP held an intellectual property adjudication forum in Pakistan which included judges, government officials and intellectual property professionals. The forum provided an outlet for the participants to realize challenges and opportunities inherent in the country’s IP capabilities, and allowed them to make recommendations for change. The government officials and members of the judiciary who participated formed a resource group that can be called upon for continued study and the future creation of an enhanced IP adjudication process in Pakistan. Participants in the forum jointly produced a list of concrete recommendations for capacity building and procedural change. CLDP will support the implementation of these recommendations in cooperation with the Judiciary and Government of Pakistan.
