CLDP hosted five days of consultations on intellectual property enforcement for 7 judges from general jurisdiction and appeals courts in Armenia as well as an official from the Justice Academy of Armenia. The group met with USPTO, the Federal Judicial Center, and U.S.

On May 14, US Department of Commerce Deputy General Counsel, Justin Antonipillai, led a commercial law liberalization workshop with Bahraini Parliamentarians, Shura Council members, and private sector leaders.

On May 12, US Department of Commerce Deputy General Counsel, Justin Antonipillai and CLDP led a workshop on insolvency for over 30 UAE commercial court judges representing four of seven emirates, hosted by the Institute for Training and Judicial Studies (ITJS).

May 11-15, 2014, CLDP led Afghan University law students in a Contracts Drafting and Negotiation Competition, the final phase of a pilot Commercial Law Clinic Course held in cooperation with Kabul University.

The two-day bankruptcy workshop, for approximately 20 judges, was led by Chief Judge Nancy Alquist, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Maryland.
