On December 16, 2020, CLDP along with USPTO and a U.S. federal judge, trained judges from the Centre for Judicial and Prosecutorial Training of Republika Srpska and the Centre for Judicial and Prosecutorial Training of Federation of BiH on intellectual property (IP) adjudication. This session was the first in a series of three and provided an overview of the trademark and copyright law and highlighted the importance of protecting IP law. Training on IP adjudication is part of a larger effort to increase judicial capacity in BiH and strengthen the rule of law, especially given the growth in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector.
