From July 22 – 25, 2024, CLDP hosted a workshop for Central Asian women artisans in Yerevan, Armenia, with a focus on export promotion and exchange of experience, and best practices. Participants engaged in classroom style instruction and visited local artisan studios and cultural centers to gain practical insights into the logistics and knowledge about international exports for small businesses. This workshop marked the beginning of a six-month coaching program tailored for each participating businesswoman from Central Asia. As the outcome of the meeting, each business received a custom designed strategic coaching plan, including strategies for achieving their business goals over the next six months. This program serves as part of CLDP’s larger work under the Central Asia Women’s Economic Empowerment Program.
