CLDP, in conjunction with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), hosted two week U.S. Consultations with Georgia's National Intellectual Property Center (Sakpatenti) to provide assistance and training for trademark examiners. CLDP cosponsored a four-person delegation from Sakpatenti to travel to Alexandria, VA, to conduct on-site consultations with USPTO. The goal of these consultations was to assist Georgia ensure compliance with the WTO TRIPS requirements in accordance with WTO obligations and the EU’s Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA).
