CLDP sponsored the participation of three technology transfer specialists from Armenia and one technology transfer specialist from Georgia to attend the 2013 Association of Technology Managers (AUTM) Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas on February 27 – March 2, 2013.  The event gave the participants an opportunity to participate in interactive workshops designed for technology transfer managers and to network with seasoned technology transfer professionals to guide the progress of their newly established centers. These participants were not only able to establish meaningful contacts with leading US technology transfer institutions but also agreed to collaborate in their respective countries in order to further R&D commercialization and incentivize innovation.

CLDP’s ongoing assistance is focused on bolstering innovation and R&D commercialization in Armenia and Georgia by helping to create a critical mass of Armenian and Georgian specialists equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully commercialize discoveries made by the academic community and act as an effective interface with the business community.
