CLDP, in coordination with the State Service of Intellectual property of Ukraine (SIPSU), the Ministry of the Interior, the Fiscal Service of Ukraine and the private sector, as well as the US Embassy in Ukraine, conducted a three day Workshop on Collective Copyright Management in Ukraine. The workshop participants included government representatives, representatives of IP right holders, law enforcement officials, regulators, lawyers and other stakeholders.

The recommendations of this workshop will be utilized by SIPSU in the drafting of new and revised legislation that will enable the development of a system of fair and transparent collective copyright management, based upon relevant international best practices and thereby eliminating rogue collective copyright management societies.
