CLDP, in collaboration with EU Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM) supported the Meeting of the Trade Facilitation Agreement Working Group on PCA Administration. The meeting took place on June 19-21, 2017 in Kyiv, Ukraine. The Working Group was formed upon the recommendation from the WTO TFA Agreement Workshop in Ukraine: Legislative and Institutional Impediments to Implementation that took place in Kyiv, Ukraine on February 22–24, 2017. The 1st PCA Working Group sitting focused on implementation of WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement and EU-UA Association Agreement standards took place in Odessa, Ukraine on March 27 - 31. The second meeting, on June 19-21 brought together American Chamber of Commerce, Ukraine, European Business Association, International Chamber of Commerce, Ukraine Business community and State Fiscal Service (SFS) of Ukraine representatives, as well as the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency and EU experts, who worked together to assess the draft legislation and measures, submitted by SFS for public discussion. Based on the results of the Working Group Meeting, the amendment to the current legislation will be submitted to the legislative procedure.
