CLDP will lead a series of consultations with Moldovan public procurement officials in the U.S. This series of consultations with city, county, national, and international procurement bodies will help the Government of Moldova better develop implementing mechanisms for its broad public procurement reform strategy that will be put into place over the next three years. This will assist Moldova in aligning its procurement processes with the requirements of its EU accession while ensuring that its new rules and processes do not unnecessarily exclude U.S. companies from the market. This consultation series will be followed by a December 15 strategy session with the Ministry of Finance to further define CLDP’s areas of assistance in implementation of the reform plan and its various components.
