CLDP hosted a high-level delegation from the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) in Washington, DC from April 14-22 for a Program on Best Practices in Competition and Consumer Protection Law Adjudication.  The delegates participated in the American Bar Association 2015 Antitrust Spring Meeting, which offered sessions on current issues faced by competition authorities.  They also participated in specialized training from U.S. Federal Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Justice officials that focused on the adjudication of cartel and merger cases.  The professional capacity gained by CCP officials through this training will contribute to the transparency and predictability of domestic and international business transactions.
