On November 12, 2009 the Kyrgyz American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) held a conference entitled, "Trade & Export in Kyrgyzstan: How to Foster Capacity" for business owners and government officials. Pulling expertise from US and European entities, the conference focused on non-tariff barriers to trade including US quality standards and the importance of intellectual property protection. This marks the third annual AmCham Conference supported by CLDP, creating a platform for leaders of the AmCham to demonstrate their expertise and commitment to serving the needs of local business owners.
