CLDP organized a technology transfer program in the U.S., September 18-25, 2010, that focused on funding resources for Pakistan's academia to industry innovation and commercialization. The program commenced in Washington D.C. where the delegation met with government, university and private sector experts in funding for startups and concluded with an introduction to the technology transfer and incubation ecosystem at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. The program concluded with the development of a work plan and framework for academia to solve industry problems thereby resulting in more jobs for Pakistan. CLDP plans continue to work with the Pakistani innovation and entrepreneurship community to help commercialize innovation in Pakistan.
