During the three-day workshop in Muscat, Oman which was organized by CLDP from June 3 - 5, 2007, in coordination with the Customs and Border Protection Agency, Office of Textiles and Apparel, government employees from the Royal Oman Police and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry were invited to participate in the workshop to assist with U.S. - Oman Free Trade Agreement implementation. During this workshop, Customs officials learned what are their obligations under the Textiles and Apparel Chapter of the FTA and understood how to process textiles and apparel goods that qualify for preferential treatment under the U.S.-Oman Free Trade Agreement.
