At the request of the Uzbekistan Direct Investment Fund (UzDIF), CLDP conducted a 4-day series of capacity building trainings on August 8-11, 2022 focusing on the topics of fund management, investments, and securities markets. The trainings took place in Tashkent for employees from UzDIF, government ministries such as the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, Ministry of Finance, and Central Bank of Uzbekistan, as well as various private-sector entities responsible for investment attraction into Uzbekistan. CLDP’s assistance to Uzbekistan in Investment Promotion includes undertaking necessary reforms in the laws and providing support and helping build the capacity of UzDIF and others to effectively represent Uzbekistan to domestic and foreign investors.
