CLDP, in cooperation with the Judicial and Prosecutorial Training Centers of FBiH, Republic Srpska and Brcko District, held a follow up workshop on Adjudication of Intellectual Property Civil Infringement Cases. The program, for 50 civil judges representing the various entities within BiH, including the Federation of BiH, Republika Srpska and Brcko District, focused on copyright, trademark, and collective copyright management issues. This latest program is part of a multi-phase judicial capacity pilot program implemented by CLDP to build a critical mass of competent, fair and efficient judges and prosecutors trained in the enforcement of IPR. CLDP's program is part of a larger effort by the USG to increase the protection and enforcement of IPR in Bosnia-Herzegovina, which recently yielded tangible results. After four year of negotiations, the State Level Government of BiH signed a Licensing Agreement with Microsoft in June 2010. In addition, the BiH Prosecutor's Office recently conducted a large-scale raid and seized counterfeit CDs, DVDs and computer programs from a popular downtown market.
