CLDP convened a four-day meeting for the members of the South East Europe Food Safety, Animal Health, and Plant Health working groups. This meeting was conducted with the expert advice of officials from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Codex Alimentarius Commission (Codex), and the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC). During the program, members of the working groups had the opportunity to discuss working group-specific issues using the expertise of their working group advisors. In addition, each working group Chairperson will present on the achievement of the goals set during the June 2005 Moldova meeting and the December 2005 Interim-meeting in Serbia and Montenegro.
