To facilitate regional legal and judicial ethics codes synthesizing the region's common law and civil law traditions, CLDP organized a three-day conference in Senegal where a pre-exsiting drafting committee presented a regional legal and judicial ethics code.

CLDP held a three-day conference during which the model investment law drafting committee, organized by CLDP, presented the finalized model investment law drafted over two previous sessions to ECOWAS, OHADA and WAEMU officials and government officials from the region's nations.

Two federal judges, a United States Patent and Trademark Attorney, and a private sector attorney conducted a two-day workshop in Cairo for 120 Egyptian judges on the legal ramifications of the recently enacted Egyptian intellectual property law.
