On July 20-21, CLDP hosted theThird Annual Georgia Against Counterfeiting Conference in Batumi, Georgia.

CLDP, in cooperation with the Higher Commercial Court of Ukraine (HCC), and the U.S. Federal Judicial Center (FJC)held a week long Consultative Visit on Utilization of Judicial IP Benchbook.

CLDP, together with advisors from the US PTO, US CBP, and the WCO, led a workshop on border identification and interdiction of counterfeit and pirated products on May 15-17, 2018, in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

On September 11-15, CLDP, USPTO, and WIPO, in close coordination with the National Intellectual Property Office of Sri Lanka and the University Grants Commission, conducted working group drafting sessions and site visits to select universities and institutions in Sri Lanka.

CLDP co-organized workshops on intellectual property for judges and for journalists in Batumi, Georgia from September 23-25, 2017.

From July 11-12, CLDP co-led a workshop on combating counterfeiting in Mali using technology to verify the authenticity of products, in coordination with International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics, the U.S. Agency for International Development, and Sproxil.

CLDP, in conjunction with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), is hosting a two-week U.S. Consultations with Georgias National Intellectual Property Center (Sakpatenti) to provide assistance and advanced training for trademark examiners.

From May 10-12, 2017, CLDP held a regional program with participants from Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Morocco in Casablanca, Morocco to share best practices in promoting SME development.

On April 24-28, CLDP joined international intellectual property organizations in celebrating World IP Day in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
