From March 14^th – 16^th, CLDP facilitated participation by a delegation of Dominican Officials at IJLATAM in Miami, an international conference focused on infrastructure and energy financing in the Latin American region. The delegation included representatives from the Dominican General Directorate for Public Private Partnerships (DGAPP), the Ministry of the Presidency, and the Dominican Center for Export and Investment (Prodominicana). While at the conference, Dominican officials hosted a round table session focused on the status of public private partnership (PPP) projects in the Dominican Republic and participated as panelists discussing the Dominican Republic as an emerging market for investment, especially in potential PPP projects. Conference participation was supported as part of CLDP’s multi-phase effort to build the capacity of the DGAPP.
