On September 12^th and 13^th, CLDP will launch the trade law program at the State University of Moldova and the Free International University of Moldova. This is the first year that CLDP will support the participation of two Moldovan teams in the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition. As part of the launch event, CLDP will host an informational session for all interested students and faculty, select local coaches, and interview candidates for the two teams. This is part of CLDP’s objective to create a cadre of legal practitioners in Moldova who are well-versed on WTO law both substantively and procedurally, boosting Moldova’s participation in WTO committee meetings and ultimately increasing their compliance with international obligations.
