Central Asia faces considerable frictions in electronic cross-border payments that curtail domestic transactions, trade and ecommerce.

From May 13-15, CLDP in partnership with The International ADR Center, (The CCC-ICLP International ADR Center) Sri Lanka conducted a Regional ADR Symposium in Colombo, Sri Lanka, for local practitioners, commercial lawyers, government attorneys, and students.

From May 7-10, CLDP hosted three authors and judges’ panels to promote the publication of an Intellectual Property (IP) Benchbook in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

CLDP, in coordination with U.S. Embassy Pristina, was delighted to facilitate the visit of Director General of Kosovo Customs Agron Llugaliu and his team to Paris, France to meet with French Customs officials and exchange information on best practices in customs procedures.

From April 22-24, CLDP and experts from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission conducted workshops on commodity futures for officials of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange and the Anti-Monopoly Committee in Bukhara and Tashkent.
