On January 24, CLDP, in partnership with Visa, conducted a workshop for the three main women-owned business associations in the Dominican Republic (DR). The workshop featured experts from Visa-DR who discussed tools and skills to grow from a small to a medium-sized business. With about 30 women entrepreneurs in attendance, the event included trainings on marketing strategies, maximizing digital payments, and financial education. This event is part of CLDP’s USAID-funded programming to improve women business access to government contracts by addressing barriers caused by limited technical knowledge and access to information. CLDP is partnering with the Dominican Association of Women Entrepreneurs (ADME), Dominican-International Federation of Women Entrepreneurs (FEM), and the National Association of Women Entrepreneurs, Executives, and Professionals (ANMEPRO).
