On March 14-16, CLDP held a workshop on best practices in the management and investigation of whistleblower reports for personnel of the Dominican General Directorate for Ethics and Government Integrity (DIGEIG) and public integrity officers from regional agencies. Experts from the Offices of Inspector General (OIG) of the U.S. Postal Service, the Department of Agriculture, and the International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) shared best practices in developing integrity policy, managing complaint mechanisms and conducting investigations of alleged public misconduct. This workshop aims to support the DIGEIG’s efforts to strengthen oversight of government employees and deter corrupt and unethical practices.  This event is part of CLDP’s broader USAID-funded anti-corruption project to further the Biden Administration’s anticorruption strategy.
