On December 1-2, CLDP led a workshop for representatives from the Dominican General Directorate for Public Private Partnerships. Utilizing former founders of public-private partnership (PPP) units in Puerto Rico, Texas, and El Salvador, the workshop shared international best practices for improving the structure, efficiency, and success rates of PPPs, as well as concrete strategies ensuring the transparent and effective development of PPP projects. This program was part of an expansion of CLDP’s procurement programming to include a multi-phase effort for building the capacity of the Dominican Republic’s nascent PPP unit.
