From February 6 – 9, 2024, CLDP sponsored 17 officials from the Dominican Directorate-General of Public-Private Partnerships (DGAPP) to obtain the Foundations CP3P professional certification. CP3P is the definitive credential to demonstrate that PPP practitioners’ capabilities are aligned with international PPP good practices and was designed to foster a common level of knowledge among practitioners globally. The program included a 4-day training, led by accredited implementer K-Infrastructure. The course covered the scope of PPPs, including such sessions as: typical PPP structure, how a PPP is financed, PPP frameworks, sources of project failures. CP3P. The course will culminate in a CP3P Foundations accreditation exam. This program served to advance the DGAPP and their partners’ ability to identify and structure more successful PPP projects, and to manage PPP projects and programs more efficiently.
