On March 29^th, 2022, CLDP in coordination with the Dominican Republic’s General Directorate of Public Private Partnerships, closed a 5-week course for minister-level participants. The course covered the basics of public private partnerships (PPPs), including sessions on project structuring and administration, project finance, risk allocation, and transparency. The course also featured local and regional perspectives, including Dominican experts, and experts from El Salvador, Peru, Guatemala, Canada, Spain, and the United States, among others. The course closed with a session led by Milagros Ortiz Bosch, Director of the Dominican General Directorate for Ethics and Integrity, and former Vice President of the Dominican Republic where she discussed the importance of ensuring transparency in PPP transactions.
