On August 30th, 2023, CLDP partnered with the Dominican General Directorate for Public Private Partnerships (DGAPP) in leading a technical workshop for technical staff from contracting units and the National Council for Public Private Partnerships (CNAPP). This included thirty representatives from the General Directorate of Public Procurement (DGCP), the Dominican Port Authority (APORDOM), the National Health Service (SNS), the Ministry of Environment (MIMARENA), Ministry for Public Works and Communications (MPOC), and the Office of the Presidency. The workshop covered the key phases of a PPP project lifecycle, including structuring, award, and management. The objective was to highlight and explain the importance of interagency cooperation and the coordination of competences within the government during each phase of the PPP project lifecycle. This workshop was conducted as part of CLDP’s ongoing multi-phase effort to build the capacity of the DGAPP.
