CLDP will host a webinar in partnership with By hand Consulting to increase the export preparedness of artisans in Morocco. The presentation will focus on how the U.S. market for global handmade products has been impacted by COVID-19.

As part of an ongoing collaboration with the Department of Commerce’s Office of Russia, Europe, and Eurasia (ORUE), CLDP participated in a video meeting with Javlon Vakhabov, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the United States on June 25, 2020, to discuss Uzbekistan’s Strategy

On July 28-29, 2020, CLDP, in collaboration with the Honduran Ministries of Customs and Economy, launched a three-part virtual series on Advance Ruling Best Practices for more than 60 government officials and private sector representatives.

On July 27, 2020, CLDP organized a webinar on project screening tools for Public-Private Partnerships (PPP). The webinar was pre-recorded and dispersed to CLDP counterparts in Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. The development of a PPP requires a significant amount of time and resources.

CLDP is currently working with the Polytechnic School of Algiers (ENP) to assist them in the development of an intellectual property (IP) policy.
