On June 5 and 6, CLDP Chief Counsel Steve Gardner joined the Burma segment of Secretary Pritzker’s visit to Southeast Asia, aimed at enhancing economic ties between commercial interests in the United States and the Philippines, Vietnam and Burma.

As part of a multi-phase technical assistance program, CLDP is partnering with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MEDT) and the Government of Ukraine to improve the quality of trade and economic policy formulation in Ukraine’s efforts to fulfill World Trade Organization (WTO) rights

CLDP, in partnership with AMUS (collective copyright organization in BiH for musicians), hosted two one-day workshops in Sarajevo on collective copyright management awareness and enforcement.

From June 2-5, CLDP hosted a delegation from the Afghan Ministry of Mines and Petroleum (MoMP), Afghan Ministry of Justice, and Parliament for a Mining Law Workshop in Doha, Qatar.

From May 26-31, CLDP hosted a delegation of eight Pakistani attorneys to the United States for advisory consultations on the development of a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) system in Pakistan.
