CLDP coordinated a consultative visit to Washington, DC for the Ukraine WTO Information Processing Center. The delegationmet with key USG officials to discuss its WTO obligations.

CLDP has organized the E-learning project as part of the USAID Technical Assistance for Policy Reform II (TAPR II) project with the Egyptian Ministry of Trade & Industry (MTI).

Part of a multi-stage assistance plan over the course of the 2007/2008 academic year to the University of Bahrain, CLDP will work with the University of Bahrain to develop the structure of their moot court program, train the responsible faculty in management of the program and instruction techniques

CLDP worked closely with Mohamed Ghernaout of Algeria's accounting association (Ordre des Experts Comptables) in Washington, D.C. August 27-31 to draft several case studies for judicial capacity building seminars scheduled to take place in Algeria in October and December 2007.

CLDP invited Bahrain officials from the E-Commerce Directorate of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in Bahrain to meet with E-commerce law practitioners, legal academics, and industry executives in the US in order to identify and craft a comprehensive E-commerce legal regime for Bahrain.
